S. Timothy Story

Tim brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry to our team. Prior to joining GEM, Tim worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan where he was a Principal Auditor for two years. At BCBSM, he led controlled self-assessment workshops to teach departments how to better control risks and meet objectives. From 1995 to 2001, Tim was a Manager at Ciulla, Smith & Dale, LLP and was responsible for audit engagements of small, medium and large businesses. He was also a staff accountant with Plante & Moran, LLP. Tim joined Steve at GEM in 2003.

Tim is a past president and active member of the Northville Rotary Club. Tim received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Accounting and Political Economy from Hillsdale College.

Tim and his wife live in Northville with their two children. Tim loves golfing and staying up to date on the latest sports news and stats, especially basketball.
